2020—HK—Forwards—Backwards—2021

This series explores the quiet resilience of Hong Kong during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, as the city remained under strict restrictions while much of the world began returning to normality. Through scenes of everyday life—masked individuals, empty streets, and bustling markets—the photographs capture the tension between isolation and routine, reflecting a community adapting to prolonged uncertainty. The images offer a contemplative look at the subtle shifts in public spaces and personal interactions, creating a visual narrative of endurance in a time of global upheaval.
